Dear Colleagues,
We would like to announce the ‘2nd Hands-on Interventional Pain Management Workshop’ of the Pain Management & Neuromodulation Centre, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, London, UK, taking place on the 17th & 18th & 19th of October 2008.
The workshop is designed for practitioners and healthcare professionals seeking the latest developments in interventional pain management techniques.
The meeting will include introductory lectures on the basic anatomical and clinical principles behind each technique, followed by practical demonstrations of anatomy and block performance under X-R control on patients with simultaneous video-linkage between the audience and the instructor.
The workshop will be separated over three days:
DAY 1 will focus on Pain Symposium Topics.
DAY 2 will focus on Pain Relief Procedures.
DAY 3 will focus on Neuromodulation.
There will be great opportunity to interact with international experts in the field of interventional pain medicine during each case. In order to preserve this aspect of the workshop we have limited the number of delegates.
In addition each delegate will receive a DVD of the procedures performed on the day.
The Pain Management & Neuromodulation Centre, at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, is one of the largest and most advanced centres in the UK. It has a long track record for teaching and refining various interventional pain relief procedures.
The City of London is one of world's most attractive capitals and offers a mixture of culture and spectacular tourist attractions. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy both the educational value of the workshop and the unique atmosphere of this historical city.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Centre,
Dr Adnan Al-Kaisy MB ChB, FRCA
Consultant in Pain Medicine
Clinical Lead of the Pain Management & Neuromodulation Centre
